How We Work

Science

We use the best available science to provide the foundation for protecting coral reefs on the High Seas. Specifically, we summarize information from previous scientific explorations, as well as conduct expeditions using state-of-the art technologies to gain new understanding of these critical ecosystems.

Policy

The Coalition engages with international organizations that regulate activities on the High Seas to better position coral reefs for increased protection.

Communications

The Coalition produces communication products that inspire decision-makers to protect coral reefs on the High Seas. We recognize that information, particularly science, must be strategically communicated to decision-makers to promote action.
